About​

We are a little French family of three: myself Julie, who writes this blog, my partner Thomas and our daughter, Little H.

When we met in 2018, Thomas and I quickly started talking about climate issues. But it was only later, when we were living in Paris, that various readings and documentaries made us really aware of the scale of the problems. In need of nature, we decided to leave the Parisian region and, slowly but surely, to put in place more and more actions to try to live in accordance with our convictions.

Zero waste, veganism, composting toilets, ethical fashion, minimalism, happy sobriety... we have discovered, explored, tried (and even adopted) a few techniques, philosophies and approaches. Not everything has always worked as well as we would like, but little by little we are developing a way of life that reflects our values and principles.

​In 2025, we bought a homestead on the shores of a little river, the river Rhôme. This place, Les Jardins du Rhôme or The Rhôme Gardens is intended to become a permaculture, thanks to Thomas's endeavours.

On our website, you'll also find Julie's art and creations inspired by Nature and language(s): illuminations and miniatures, abstract art, calligraphies...

In the future, we hope to create our own herbal tea brand and sell some of our creations as well as hosting workshops.

Through the eco-blog, we invite you to walk with us towards a greener, simpler and more humane life. Who knows, maybe will you glean some ideas to dare to invent the world of tomorrow?
